KO Basketball Academy is an all-inclusive youth basketball program founded by elite, high performing athletes who saw a gap between old school drills and how the modern game is actually played. We bring a contemporary style of coaching to every age and skill level, grounded in our belief that a player's biggest weaknesses can become their greatest strengths, developed through teamwork and personal growth.
What started in the Hornsby, Chatswood, and Epping areas has grown into a full pathway: private and group training, competition teams in the local HKBA and Norths competitions, school programs, and holiday camps. Every session is run by coaches with BNSW and representative experience, all holding valid Working With Children Checks.
We're building more than players, we're building a basketball community on Sydney's north side. And we're only getting started.
Message from Founder
Every young athlete who picks up a basketball imagines what it could become, whether it’d be playing in the NBA, NBL, or competing overseas.
Growing up, I was fortunate enough to play in one of Australia’s finest school basketball programs. Inspired by the opportunity, I founded KO Academy to provide these opportunities to the broader community, aiming to cultivate a culture rather than just training.
At the heart of everything, I believe that every young athlete deserves their shot. KO Academy’s Individual, Group, and Team Programs aim to provide pathways and exposure to less fortunate athletes who don’t have Private school resources.
Our mission is to support and guide every individual athlete develop personal skills and mature into young adults through weekly training/s.
